If you do not want the Student Health Insurance Plan, you must decline or opt-out of coverage by submitting a waiver. You may only opt-out of coverage during the following Waiver Periods:

Undergraduate Students

Graduate Students

सभी छात्रों के लिए बेसोले001 की छात्र स्वास्थ्य बीमा योजना (एसएचआईपी) में नामांकन करना अनिवार्य है। बीमा शुल्क छात्रों के खातों से लिया जाएगा। यदि आपके पास कोई वैकल्पिक स्वास्थ्य बीमा कवरेज है, तो आप एसएचआईपी में नामांकन से छूट प्राप्त कर सकते हैं । 

To waive the SHIP, Messiah requires that students provide proof of coverage comparable to the coverage provided by Messiah’s SHIP. Please be advised that the waiver request will be reviewed and verified with the insurance carrier.  

Domestic Students 

1. Coverage must be active with the expectation that coverage will continue for the rest of the academic year 8/1/26 - 7/31/27. 

International Students: 

1. Coverage must be active with the expectation that coverage will continue for the rest of the academic year 8/1/26 - 7/31/27. 
2. Your alternate plan must be one of the following: 
   • ISO Care 
   • ISO Care Elite
